Author Markita Wright

Markita Wright is a native of Rockingham, NC and works as a nurse at Duke Cancer Center in Durham North Carolina. Her childhood years garnered a strong God centered foundation that was nurtured by her parents, siblings and the elders of her community. As she has maintained her faith in God, she endeavors to encourage  people from all walks of life. Her desire is that others begin to   explore the importance of self-preservation, self-love and mental reconstruction. She lives by her mother’s words, “I am Somebody," and seeks to empower others to believe the same. 

 Markita is a champion for healthy marriages, and passionately encourages women to become incubators for their husbands visions and dreams. An example to many, her lifestyle inspires and challenges women to develop strong relationships with God and with their families. She is affectionately known for her authenticity, dependability, listening skills and her silly and playful side, She strives to lift the souls of those she comes into contact with on a regular basis.  Through her many experiences she has gained great insight and wisdom that causes her to walk in Godly humility enabling her to readily see the needs of others. 

Markita is truly living her best days, and is determined to fulfill her purpose as a living example of what God intended life to be. Markita Wright is simply put – a woman who loves God and is committed to fulfilling His assignment for her life. Markita is the wife and best friend to the AMAZING, Russell Wright! She is devoted to the vision of the ministry of God. 

Markita’s role as a mother yields incomparable joy. She is the proud mother of four beautiful children, and attributes her life’s success to God, her parents and the continual leadership and support of her husband.
